~What Travelling Means to Me~

DISCLAIMER: This is part-entry to Tourism Selangor's #TSBeakaway contest, part introspective reflection on my relationship with travel. Thank you for reading~! :)

I'll say it honestly: if someone told me I'd have to live out of a suitcase for the rest of my life, but it meant that I could trek across the Great Wall of China, photograph the Aurora Borealis, admire Neuschwanstein Castle in the winter, or perform a prayer in Instanbul's Blue Mosque, then I would say, cool, what's the minimum for check-in luggage?

Lemony Snicket Has Got Nothing On Me ...

Yesterday was just about the Worst First-World Problem Day of my life.

I say First World problems, It's because in perspective, there are a LOT more worse things that could happen to me, and there are more real, serious problems happening around the world which would make my yesterday look like a walk in the park.

However, the amount of misfortune I met yesterday was just such a mind-blowing, Lemony Snicket-level of misfortune, I just had to blog about it. Because I can look back on this day and laugh, and maybe in the future I would have figured out what God was trying to tell me through it. :P

My TEDxKL 2013 Experience ....

I found out from Zhian that TED was coming to KL this August, and even though I'm a huge fan of their talks and stalk for video updates on YouTube, I had no idea they had done TEDxKL annually for the past three years~ OwO;

It goes without saying that the moment I heard about it, I booked the tickets immediately, because slots were limited and going fast! Booking tickets early was a good move, seeing that all 1,500 slots had been filled only a few weeks after going on sale~
