Heard from Alyaa earlier in the week that there was going to be a day-long flea-market/craft bazaar thing at Publika over the weekend, so being the hijabster, bargain-hunting, clothes-and-shoes junkies that we are, we decided to check it out. :D
It was quite a lovely little market, with awesome, adorable clothes and accessories. There were a few pieces I really wanted but couldn't afford ... and what I could afford I couldn't exactly wear to work (why are the cutest outfits so not office-friendly? =__=;;).
I brought my camera with me, but I think I was too distracted by awesome shiny things to actually take any good photographs orz. (I think I edited my pics to be too dark ...)
Ended up buying this shirt lol ...
A hipster outing wouldn't be complete without the obligatory Instagram shots:
Pre-loved goods and vintage tin toys~
A moustache motif notepad I bought (couldn't resist!) and reallyreally adorable rings! *w*
Ol' skool rotary dial phone ... and a pretty artwork I saw (strangely) at the entrance to the ladies' toilet ...
After browsing the bazaar, we had our ifthar at Plan B. They have the most heavenly butterscotch milkshakes (all three of us ended up ordering one each, lol~)! I ordered the Roasted Cherry Tomato Pomodoro ...
Cherry tomato Pomodoro at Plan B ... yummeh~!
Afterwards, we hung out for a bit at Alyaa's house while we admired our new purchases. I ended up buying my baju Raya for this year, a classic powder-blue kurung with lace-embroidered sleeves and strawberry-print. Really cute. And the cutting was really flattering. Pics later~! *w*
Wanted to test out my new flash, so ended up taking pics of Alyaa's adorable cats and kittens ... they are adorable, but wouldn't sit still~ ^^;;
